BlackAtlanta.net a world class web portal was founded in 2002
in Atlanta, GA by Alfreda Moon the present owner. The company
was founded because the people of Atlanta were lacking a genuine
quality resource for first hand information about what was happening
in their community. In addition, the owner notice a need for a
one time stop web portal that would eliminate the need of surfing
several sites to obtain general information. The concept was to
have everything in one place for viewers that resided in the Atlanta
metro area or that would be traveling to the city from abroad.
From this dream the inception of BlackAtlanta.net was formed and
launched.
As the owner the company vows it will serve as a median to bridge
the gap between the digital divide in the city. It will educate,
inform, volunteer time and resources to the bring the information
super highway closer to the people of the city that have been
left behind.
